I rented a V6 mustang and put 1,000 miles on it in a day, it was alright wasn’t really a fan. The driving position wasn’t to my liking nor was the infotainment or whatever you call it.

Yeah, this one is pretty alright. I like the steering and the ride, but I don’t like the engine much. I’d much rather have a V8.

The steering isn’t bad, given the fact it’s electric. Although going from an M car to anything else, the steering doesn’t feel as good.

From what I’ve heard, don’t base your opinion on the automatic, because it basically ruins the car.

If felt so much better than the Hyundai Sonata I rented, the steering was so appalling that I’m not sure I’d drive a free one.

All the ecoboxes seemed to be equipped with over boosted steering and it makes it so twitchy. The new BMWs lack the feel of my generation, but they’re not that bad.

It’s just loose, not over boosted. Both of my Audis were much better. And both of them had over 100k on them.

I know BMW used electric steering in the Z4 in like 2003 or something, unless you got a Z4 M, but didn’t use it for the rest of their cars until this most recent generation.

I had one as rental drive down to SC from NJ and back up. It was the V6 auto and a vert. Decent power but I had to wait till 4k for it to kick in.

Other than that, it was quite comfortable and enjoyable all the way down to SC.

Btw, if you are near Rock Hill SC go to “The Dixie Pig” and try the St. Louis Ribs, the Mac and Cheese and the fried corn on the cobb. OMG.
